Well-schooled punks (i.e. you can tell they have good record collections) from Pittsburgh, The Gotobeds debut album is all you could hope for: energetic, smartass and serious in equal measure, catchy, wiry/Wire-y, and terrific songs that had my head bopping instantly. Even the uncharacteristically long 10-minute closing track maintains an intense ferocity throughout and seems to rush by much more quickly.
